Everything in its place

At a glance, everything seems to be in its place. But after a more attentive look, you can see that some things are not where they were supposed to be.

Where is it?

Was it really supposed to be there?

Is it really missing?

Is it temporary?

Permanent?

Good?

Bad?

Do these spaces need to be filled?

Is it just the way it has been for a while?

Or is it just the way it actually is?

Well, these are questions waiting to be answered. But I guess I already know the answer to some of them.

And let life make the other answers clearer.

On water

Water: a clear, colorless, odorless, and tasteless liquid.

This is a boring definition with to much “less”.  That’s for sure. Then here comes the question: is water that boring and “less”? I don’t think so.

Water reflects, so it adds. I can’t be so “less”

And windows also reflect.

And in this case? Who reflects who. Well, again it will depend on the perspective. Here the water encompasses lots of things. But interestingly enough, its surface is only determined by the presence of the reflection of windows.

More reflections

Reflections can happen virtually anywhere at any time. Sometimes we just don’t notice that the floor is on the ceiling.

Upside down. I mean... downside up?

Getting rid of the clutter

This can have amazing effects in our life. Dispose of unnecessary and annoying things can make our lives much lighter and pleasurable for the simple reason that you don’t spend your energy with useless things.

The problems is that sometimes we can take a while to figure it out, but, once we are sure of it, the best is to get rid of it.

But don’t overdo it! And take care not to throw away things you in fact need, because then there’s no turning back.

Is it a ship? Is a plane? No! It’s Mr. Ray!

One more example of how things can look like other ones.

Mr. Ray: All new explorers must answer a science question. You live in what kind of home?

Listen to the teacher

Mr. Ray: Okay, class. Optical orbits up front, and remember, we keep our subesophageal ganglion to ourselves. That means you, Jimmy.

Jimmy: Aw, man!

Bubbles

[Marlin and Dory are racing through the jellyfish forest. Marlin starts talking to himself]
Marlin: So, we’re cheating death now, that’s what we’re doing, and we’re having fun at the same time, I can do this, just be careful…
Dory: Yeah, be careful I don’t make you cry when I win!
Marlin: Oh I don’t think so!
Dory: Give it up old man, you can’t fight evolution, I was built for speed!
Marlin: The question is Dory, are you hungry?
Dory: Hungry? Why?
Marlin: ‘Cause you’re about to eat my bubbles!

The exit is near

Crush: Alright, we’re here, dudes! Get ready! Your exit’s comin’ up, man!

Marlin: Where? I don’t see it.

Dory: There! I see it! I see it!

Marlin: You mean the swirling vortex of terror?

Crush: That’s it, dude!

It may be hard to follow turtles.

Big Fish

Karl: I don’t want to eat you. I just get so hungry. I’m just too big.
Young Ed Bloom: Has it ever occurred to you that maybe you’re not too big? That maybe this place is just too small?

Two-way streets

It’s so good when feelings and actions are mutual in our lifes…

Maybe that’s all we should seek.

Unfortunately, one-way streets seem to be more and more common these days.
